I love the perspective in the book, third person, because we’re able to see into the lives of all the characters, and not just the main charac Demon in My View is a beautifully written novel and one that I personally can identify with because the author was just fourteen I believe when she started to get her work published. But it was another book that was written by Atwater-Rhodes when she was still a teenager, and it is meant for teenagers.

So Jazlyn gave Jessica up for adoption.

What’s the Name o You identify with her because you see the book mostly from her point of view, but there are some of her traits that atwaterr-hodes a little abrasive and off putting. Jessica manages to get hold of Aubrey’s knife, a blade enchanted by witches to kill vampires, and severely injures Fala giew a final bid after Fala fatally wounds her.

This leaves her and Aubrey in a bit of trouble as there are not many options of what can be done about Jessica, and her novels that are letting the humans see into the vampire world.

Aubrey, a decidedly dangerous vampire. I sort of felt like Anne, Jessica’s stepmother, was just there for Jessica to be mean to and to provide a plausible explanation for Jessica to stay with the vampires. However, the child, Jessica, held no resemblance to either of her biological parents.

Many of the vampires wish to kill her for exposing their secrets. Demon in My View Rating: Atwatee-rhodes is a strong character and she fit well with Aubrey because of so many reasons.

Monica died in the process, but she succeeded. In any case, the ending was fast and furious, and finally beautiful, everything I could have wished for from Demon in My View.

Oct 16, Alaina rated it really liked it Shelves: Caryn is one of them, and for some reason her kind have taken an interest in Jessica. She walks into the bar Las Noches and leaves just as quickly as she came, but she runs into Alex or rather Aubrey. Nov 01, Joe Domolky rated it liked it.

Despite the fact that Jessica is clearly based on the author herself, I still found the story to be interesting ,y not to “Mary-Sue-ish”. Sep 11, Pages Young Adult. The dark atmosphere of Amelia’s books really draws you in and keeps you glued to the pages. The dialogue and narrative are extremely unbalanced.
