Evangeline’s penance was hard enough, although I wish she wasn’t such a whiny girl about wendellin. Most of us, myself included, don’t allow ourselves to open up to the possibility of the possibility. It was also interesting to see this father-daughter angst. And so much unnecessary drama.
There are no discussion topics on this book yet. That does not sound like a good plot. I’m definitely not the kind of person who would do what she did, but let’s be honest now: Evangeline starts out by planning her kissing rendezvous, but eventually resorts to just taking what she wants without thinking of the consequences.
Disillusioned with love because of her father’s infidelity and the resulting separation of her parents, Evangeline thinks she’s found the definition of kizser love in a romance novel. She reads it again and again and again.
